UNESCO / L'OREAL program for women
In the framework of the UNESCO / L'OREAL program for women scientists in the field of natural sciences, we present the information about the 2023 International Prize Competition. The main purpose of this program is to recognize the world-renowned discoveries and contributions of women scientists in the field of natural sciences (physics, mathematics and computer technology) in the member states of UNESCO (List of natural sciences) being done). Women scientists who successfully participate in the UNESCO / L'OREAL Prize competition will be awarded a prize of 100,000 Euros. The competition is fierce (only 5 prizes are awarded for five regions), in order to participate, candidates must meet the following basic requirements: - be recognized by the international scientific community; - be active in the field of science; - Scientific activity in the fields of natural sciences, physics, mathematics and computer technology. The documents to be completed for participation in the competition are: - a detailed biography of the candidate; - A letter of recommendation justifying the candidate's suitability for the award (issued by the recommending scientific institution or organization); - Complete list of scientific publications and patents of the candidate; - A list of the ten most important scientific publications of the candidate (in order of importance), together with short theses justifying their relevance; - A copy of the candidate's ten most important scientific publications; - Recommendations from foreign scientific institutions or scientists (3-5). Nomination documents for participation in the above-mentioned competition must be submitted online through a special platform (www.forwomeninscience.com) by May 31 of this year.
