DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The Department of International Cooperation is one of the most important departments in the activities of the Institute, and on behalf of TIIAME in cooperation with various organizations in foreign countries and in Uzbekistan in all directions for its development, mission and main goals. organizes and coordinates activities. International cooperation is a formal link that connects the institute with leading foreign universities and organizations, covering a wide range of strategic and current operational activities. Identification of mutually beneficial areas of cooperation with foreign higher education and research institutions, organizations of various business sectors, development of educational and research programs, internationalization of students and faculty, student exchange, joint education and the organization of scientific programs and projects, the organization of professional development and internships of professors and teachers, the involvement of leading specialists of advanced foreign institutions in the educational and scientific process of the institute, the modernization of the material and technical and educational laboratory base of the institute The main tasks of the department of international cooperation are to create conditions for further development of the existing educational and scientific-technical potential of the institute. The International Cooperation Department is currently headed by Dr. Rakhmonov.

 

Today, "TIIAME" NRU has a total of 87 agreements and memoranda with foreign partners, which are in force with leading institutions in leading European countries, the United States, Russia, developed countries in Asia and Central Asia. Currently, "TIIAME" NRU is implementing a total of 29 international projects worth $ 1 billion and about 700 million euros. "TIIAME" NRU has an international joint master's degree and an international joint doctorate, which provides dual diplomas in 17 specialties. In addition, every year more than 30 professors from leading foreign universities are involved in the educational and research process of the institute. Students from China, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Colombia, Afghanistan and South Korea study at the university.

Every year, more than 100 professors, teachers and students of the institute travels for advanced training and internships in universities and organizations of developed countries. The department's priorities for the near future include:

- development of educational programs in accordance with international requirements and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with leading higher education institutions in developed countries (according to the recognized rating agencies THE, QS TOP1000);

- development of research programs in accordance with international requirements and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with international scientific schools;

- improving capacity development programs and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with leading international higher education and research institutions, international foundations and donors;

- creation of necessary and encouraging conditions for active participation of professors, doctoral students and students in activities in the field of international cooperation, establishment of an objective and transparent system of monitoring the process and results of international activities;

- selection and targeted training of talented students of the institute for international competitions of students of higher education institutions;

- wide involvement of foreign students, increasing the academic attractiveness of the institute in the international arena;

- involvement of professors and teachers of advanced foreign higher education institutions in the educational process of undergraduate and graduate specialties.

Teaching foreigners has been practicing since 1956 at "TIIAME" NRU. Tthe faculty of Professional Skills Improvement of Agricultural Managers and Staff was established in 1966. In 1997 the “Center for Development and Promotion of International Relations”; in 1999 the Department of International Relations Development and Retraining were established in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the training of highly qualified specialists in 1999. In 2021, the department renamed to the International Cooperation Department. Nowadays, Sh.Rakhmonov is leading the International Cooperation Department.
